Gilimanuk Dive Site (Secret Bay)
The dive site is located in front of the docking area of the Gilimanuk Harbor . I bet you won 't believe this place has so many things to see, until you put on your mask and start exploring the 2 to 6m depth of water. Visibility is varying from 3 to 15m. If you are looking for big fishes, you will not find them here. This place is strictly for "unusual" and rare underwater creatures, which are small and well camouflage d between the sea grass, the sand and some debris.. yes, slowly work on the garbage and most probably there is something underneath. Snake Eals , Sea Snakes, Cockatoo Fish, Juvenile of Rabbit Fishes, Flounders, varieties of Gobies, Frog Fishes, Dragonets, Nudibranch, Sea Hares and many more. If you are an Underwater Photographer of Video shooter , you may spend 2 hours bottom time, 3 to 4 dives a day and still find something new.
Menjangan Dive Site
You can either start from the Jetty and swim to the east or from a traditional boat that drop you right in the channel between the main island and Menjangan. This dive sites is big, covering more than 60.000 m2 underwater lives, partial drop off, slope and flat area. Generally visibility is around 20m or better. You can expect to be companied by some friendly Bat Fish through out your dive. Sometimes there's some current in the channel, and that's the time when you have a chance to see some big pelagic, such as Tuna, Sharks ...
Pemuteran Dive Site
Located north of Matahari Beach Resort and a boat ride of about 15 minutes. The submerge reef starts at a depth of 15m and down up to 50m. The reef itself is not very big, it's around 2000 m2. It is full of soft coral, almost 90% coverage at some places. With some good observation skill, you may find Ghost Pipefish, Leaf Fish and several types of beautiful Nudibranch. To dive at this place, divers require to have good buoyancy control to be able to make a safety stop from a drift line / float. Puri Jati Dive Site
Puri Jati (PJ) is a dive site with dark volcanic sand and some seaweed and soft coral similar to Bali Seraya, Gilimanuk or Lembeh Straits Manado. It is a good place to see small rand rare animals like frogfishes (for example A. striatus), dragonets, seahorses, nudibranchs, ambon scorpionfishes and devil fishes, flying gunard, the mimic octopus and other rare species of octopus. It lies close to the Zen Hotel and a short distance west of Seririt and 13 km west of Lovina , well worth a dive or 2 ...
Kubu Dive Site
Kubu - is a small village just a 10 Minute drive north of Tulamben and in the North-East of Bali. The Kubu Reefs are easily accessible from the rocky lava shore or by local boat from Tulamben dive sites, similar toTulamben dive sites. These site are a favorable snorkeling location. Kubu Dive Site is named after the Kubu village abundant beautiful coral reefs combined with swirling fishes is the attraction here. No wonder it gains the popularity in quite relatively short time. Diver’s impression is that Kubu Dive site is really great! Especially the colorful coral reefs and fishes swim around them. The highlight of this site is pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti), various of nudibranch such as Phyllidia varicosa and Reticulidia halgerda.
